The arts are alive and kicking in Spokane with many galleries and performance venues to choose from. Spokane Center Stage encompasses a full city block dedicated to the arts. The venue offers a wide variety of entertainment including Ellas’ Supper Club, a venue lost in most places, where dining and enjoying live music combine in a traditional setting. The Big Easy Concert House hosts nationally and internationally known musical artists and acts as dance club in between shows. The adjacent Bourbon St. Uptown Foods and Spirits offers authentic New Orleans Creole dishes.
Notable artist studio galleries include Erlendson Art Glass where Spencer Erlendson creates unique and beautiful glass sculpture, bowls, vases and perfume bottles, among other pieces. His work is all one-of a kind and has been shown internationally. Many fine contemporary artists work is exhibited in the Galleria De Felice in the Davenport Hotel. The Gallery offers professional artist finder services and specializes in commissioning bronze sculpture for home and garden. Jewelry, metalwork, painting, pottery and most artistic mediums are represented in Spokane’s thriving art community.
